Beside me, on both sides, there were many people doing the same; they seemed to be mirroring my actions while quietly talking to each other. The planned trip was brought before the church as a mission to Brazil which would like to see the following accomplished: God to be glorified; the churches encouraged and a legacy left within the hearts and live of the people of Brazil. On this basis the church sent Kerryn Anderson Jayne and Paul Pearson to Brazil from Saturday 7th November 2009

On Saturday evening we were enjoying a meal of ‘leftovers’! We had shared a lovely meal with friends the previous night; there had been so much delicious food that we couldn’t eat it all at once and had asked the waitress if we could bring the ‘leftovers’ home.

It was an annual event; Mary and Joseph made the same journey each year to celebrate Passover in Jerusalem. Perhaps previous years had been uneventful, since there was no significant event causing it to be recorded in Scripture. Yet, on this twelfth year, something highly significant happens; the boy Jesus goes missing.
